Surah Al-Lail — The Night

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 92:1 ▶
   ﲑﲒﲓﲔ وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ

   By the night when it covers

   तफ़सीर
2. 92:2 ▶
   ﲕﲖﲗﲘ وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ

   And [by] the day when it appears

   तफ़सीर
3. 92:3 ▶
   ﲙﲚﲛﲜﲝ وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ

   And [by] He who created the male and female,

   तफ़सीर
4. 92:4 ▶
   ﲞﲟﲠﲡ إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ

   Indeed, your efforts are diverse.

   तफ़सीर
5. 92:5 ▶
   ﲢﲣﲤﲥﲦ فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ

   As for he who gives and fears Allah

   तफ़सीर
6. 92:6 ▶
   ﲧﲨﲩ وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

   And believes in the best [reward],

   तफ़सीर
7. 92:7 ▶
   ﲪﲫﲬ فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ

   We will ease him toward ease.

   तफ़सीर
8. 92:8 ▶
   ﲭﲮﲯﲰﲱ وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ

   But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need

   तफ़सीर
9. 92:9 ▶
   ﲲﲳﲴ وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

   And denies the best [reward],

   तफ़सीर
10. 92:10 ▶
    ﱁﱂﱃ فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ

    We will ease him toward difficulty.

    तफ़सीर
11. 92:11 ▶
    ﱄﱅﱆﱇﱈﱉﱊ وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ

    And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?

    तफ़सीर
12. 92:12 ▶
    ﱋﱌﱍﱎ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ

    Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.

    तफ़सीर
13. 92:13 ▶
    ﱏﱐﱑﱒﱓ وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْـَٔاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ

    And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].

    तफ़सीर
14. 92:14 ▶
    ﱔﱕﱖﱗ فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ

    So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing.

    तफ़सीर
15. 92:15 ▶
    ﱘﱙﱚﱛﱜ لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى

    None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one.

    तफ़सीर
16. 92:16 ▶
    ﱝﱞﱟﱠ ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

    Who had denied and turned away.

    तफ़सीर
17. 92:17 ▶
    ﱡﱢﱣ وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى

    But the righteous one will avoid it -

    तफ़सीर
18. 92:18 ▶
    ﱤﱥﱦﱧﱨ ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ

    [He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself

    तफ़सीर
19. 92:19 ▶
    ﱩﱪﱫﱬﱭﱮﱯ وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰٓ

    And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded

    तफ़सीर
20. 92:20 ▶
    ﱰﱱﱲﱳﱴﱵ إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ

    But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High.

    तफ़सीर
21. 92:21 ▶
    ﱶﱷﱸ وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ

    And he is going to be satisfied.

    तफ़सीर
