Grenada has a small Muslim community estimated at less than 0.5 percent of the population, numbering perhaps 200 to 500 adherents in an island nation of approximately 113,000. The community is composed of Caribbean-origin converts (with historical ties to the Nation of Islam and later Sunni reorientation since the 1970s and 1980s) and a small number of recent immigrants from Guyana, Trinidad, and South Asia. The Grenadian Muslim community gathers at the Masjid Al-Ihsaan in St. George's, the principal congregational space. There is no state Islamic authority, and the community is too small to support a formal Islamic school. eSalah uses the Muslim World League default for Grenada, consistent with Caribbean regional practice. The community maintains ongoing links with Trinidadian and Guyanese Muslim networks for religious education, halal certification, and Eid coordination, and most observant residents travel to Trinidad or to the larger U.S. Caribbean diaspora communities in New York and Florida for major religious life-cycle events and advanced Islamic education.
