Surah At-Takwir — The Overthrowing

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 81:1 ▶
   ﱉﱊﱋﱌ إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ

   When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]

   تفسیر
2. 81:2 ▶
   ﱍﱎﱏﱐ وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ

   And when the stars fall, dispersing,

   تفسیر
3. 81:3 ▶
   ﱑﱒﱓﱔ وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ

   And when the mountains are removed

   تفسیر
4. 81:4 ▶
   ﱕﱖﱗﱘ وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ

   And when full-term she-camels are neglected

5. 81:5 ▶
   ﱙﱚﱛﱜ وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ

   And when the wild beasts are gathered

   تفسیر
6. 81:6 ▶
   ﱝﱞﱟﱠ وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ

   And when the seas are filled with flame

   تفسیر
7. 81:7 ▶
   ﱡﱢﱣﱤ وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ

   And when the souls are paired

   تفسیر
8. 81:8 ▶
   ﱥﱦﱧﱨ وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ

   And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked

   تفسیر
9. 81:9 ▶
   ﱩﱪﱫﱬ بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ قُتِلَتْ

   For what sin she was killed

   تفسیر
10. 81:10 ▶
    ﱭﱮﱯﱰ وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ

    And when the pages are made public

    تفسیر
11. 81:11 ▶
    ﱱﱲﱳﱴ وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ

    And when the sky is stripped away

    تفسیر
12. 81:12 ▶
    ﱵﱶﱷﱸ وَإِذَا ٱلْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ

    And when Hellfire is set ablaze

    تفسیر
13. 81:13 ▶
    ﱹﱺﱻﱼ وَإِذَا ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ

    And when Paradise is brought near,

    تفسیر
14. 81:14 ▶
    ﱽﱾﱿﲀﲁ عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ

    A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].

15. 81:15 ▶
    ﲂﲃﲄﲅ فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ

    So I swear by the retreating stars -

16. 81:16 ▶
    ﲆﲇﲈ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ

    Those that run [their courses] and disappear -

    تفسیر
17. 81:17 ▶
    ﲉﲊﲋﲌ وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ

    And by the night as it closes in

18. 81:18 ▶
    ﲍﲎﲏﲐ وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ

    And by the dawn when it breathes

    تفسیر
19. 81:19 ▶
    ﲑﲒﲓﲔﲕ إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ

    [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger

20. 81:20 ▶
    ﲖﲗﲘﲙﲚﲛﲜ ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ

    [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position],

    تفسیر
21. 81:21 ▶
    ﲝﲞﲟﲠ مُّطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ

    Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy.

22. 81:22 ▶
    ﲡﲢﲣﲤ وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍ

    And your companion is not [at all] mad.

23. 81:23 ▶
    ﲥﲦﲧﲨﲩ وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْمُبِينِ

    And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon.

24. 81:24 ▶
    ﲪﲫﲬﲭﲮﲯ وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ

    And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen.

    تفسیر
25. 81:25 ▶
    ﲰﲱﲲﲳﲴﲵ وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ

    And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens].

    تفسیر
26. 81:26 ▶
    ﲶﲷﲸ فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ

    So where are you going?

    تفسیر
27. 81:27 ▶
    ﲹﲺﲻﲼﲽﲾ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

    It is not except a reminder to the worlds

    تفسیر
28. 81:28 ▶
    ﲿﳀﳁﳂﳃﳄ لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ

    For whoever wills among you to take a right course.

    74:55 فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ 76:29 إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا
29. 81:29 ▶
    ﳅﳆﳇﳈﳉﳊﳋﳌﳍ وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

    And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds.
