Surah Ar-Rahmaan — The Beneficent

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 55:1
   ﱧﱨ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ

   The Most Merciful

2. 55:2
   ﱩﱪﱫ عَلَّمَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ

   Taught the Qur'an,

3. 55:3
   ﱬﱭﱮ خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ

   Created man,

4. 55:4
   ﱯﱰﱱ عَلَّمَهُ ٱلْبَيَانَ

   [And] taught him eloquence.

5. 55:5
   ﱲﱳﱴﱵ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ

   The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,

6. 55:6
   ﱶﱷﱸﱹ وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ

   And the stars and trees prostrate.

7. 55:7
   ﱺﱻﱼﱽﱾ وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَ

   And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

8. 55:8
   ﱿﲀﲁﲂﲃ أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْمِيزَانِ

   That you not transgress within the balance.

9. 55:9
   ﲄﲅﲆﲇﲈﲉﲊ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلْوَزْنَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا۟ ٱلْمِيزَانَ

   And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.

10. 55:10
    ﲋﲌﲍﲎ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ

    And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.

11. 55:11
    ﲏﲐﲑﲒﲓﲔ فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَٱلنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ ٱلْأَكْمَامِ

    Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

12. 55:12
    ﲕﲖﲗﲘﲙ وَٱلْحَبُّ ذُو ٱلْعَصْفِ وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ

    And grain having husks and scented plants.

13. 55:13
    ﲚﲛﲜﲝﲞ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

14. 55:14
    ﲟﲠﲡﲢﲣﲤ خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ كَٱلْفَخَّارِ

    He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.

15. 55:15
    ﲥﲦﲧﲨﲩﲪﲫ وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ

    And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

16. 55:16
    ﲬﲭﲮﲯﲰ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

17. 55:17
    ﲱﲲﲳﲴﲵ رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ

    [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.

18. 55:18
    ﲶﲷﲸﲹﲺ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

19. 55:19
    ﱁﱂﱃﱄ مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ

    He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];

20. 55:20
    ﱅﱆﱇﱈﱉ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ

    Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.

21. 55:21
    ﱊﱋﱌﱍﱎ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

22. 55:22
    ﱏﱐﱑﱒﱓ يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ

    From both of them emerge pearl and coral.

23. 55:23
    ﱔﱕﱖﱗﱘ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

24. 55:24
    ﱙﱚﱛﱜﱝﱞﱟ وَلَهُ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ

    And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains.

25. 55:25
    ﱠﱡﱢﱣﱤ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

26. 55:26
    ﱥﱦﱧﱨﱩ كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ

    Everyone upon the earth will perish,

27. 55:27
    ﱪﱫﱬﱭﱮﱯﱰ وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ

    And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.

28. 55:28
    ﱱﱲﱳﱴﱵ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

29. 55:29
    ﱶﱷﱸﱹﱺﱻﱼﱽﱾﱿﲀﲁ يَسْـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِى شَأْنٍ

    Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.

30. 55:30
    ﲂﲃﲄﲅﲆ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

31. 55:31
    ﲇﲈﲉﲊﲋ سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ

    We will attend to you, O prominent beings.

32. 55:32
    ﲌﲍﲎﲏﲐ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

33. 55:33
    ﲑﲒﲓﲔﲕﲖﲗﲘﲙﲚﲛﲜﲝﲞﲟﲠﲡﲢ يَـٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا۟ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ

    O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah].

34. 55:34
    ﲣﲤﲥﲦﲧ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

35. 55:35
    ﲨﲩﲪﲫﲬﲭﲮﲯﲰ يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ

    There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.

36. 55:36
    ﲱﲲﲳﲴﲵ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

37. 55:37
    ﲶﲷﲸﲹﲺﲻﲼ فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَٱلدِّهَانِ

    And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil -

38. 55:38
    ﲽﲾﲿﳀﳁ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

39. 55:39
    ﳂﳃﳄﳅﳆﳇﳈﳉﳊ فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَآنٌّ

    Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.

40. 55:40
    ﳋﳌﳍﳎﳏ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

41. 55:41
    ﳐﳑﳒﳓﳔﳕﳖ يُعْرَفُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَـٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى وَٱلْأَقْدَامِ

    The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

42. 55:42
    ﱁﱂﱃﱄﱅ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

43. 55:43
    ﱆﱇﱈﱉﱊﱋﱌ هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

    This is Hell, which the criminals deny.

44. 55:44
    ﱍﱎﱏﱐﱑﱒ يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٍ

    They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].

45. 55:45
    ﱓﱔﱕﱖﱗ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

46. 55:46
    ﱘﱙﱚﱛﱜﱝ وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ

    But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -

47. 55:47
    ﱞﱟﱠﱡﱢ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

48. 55:48
    ﱣﱤﱥ ذَوَاتَآ أَفْنَانٍ

    Having [spreading] branches.

49. 55:49
    ﱦﱧﱨﱩﱪ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

50. 55:50
    ﱫﱬﱭﱮ فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ

    In both of them are two springs, flowing.

51. 55:51
    ﱯﱰﱱﱲﱳ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

52. 55:52
    ﱴﱵﱶﱷﱸﱹ فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ

    In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.

53. 55:53
    ﱺﱻﱼﱽﱾ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

54. 55:54
    ﱿﲀﲁﲂﲃﲄﲅﲆﲇﲈﲉ مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ

    [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.

55. 55:55
    ﲊﲋﲌﲍﲎ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

56. 55:56
    ﲏﲐﲑﲒﲓﲔﲕﲖﲗﲘ فِيهِنَّ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّ

    In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni -

57. 55:57
    ﲙﲚﲛﲜﲝ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

58. 55:58
    ﲞﲟﲠﲡ كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلْيَاقُوتُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ

    As if they were rubies and coral.

59. 55:59
    ﲢﲣﲤﲥﲦ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

60. 55:60
    ﲧﲨﲩﲪﲫﲬ هَلْ جَزَآءُ ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُ

    Is the reward for good [anything] but good?

61. 55:61
    ﲭﲮﲯﲰﲱ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

62. 55:62
    ﲲﲳﲴﲵ وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ

    And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens -

63. 55:63
    ﲶﲷﲸﲹﲺ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

64. 55:64
    ﲻﲼ مُدْهَآمَّتَانِ

    Dark green [in color].

65. 55:65
    ﲽﲾﲿﳀﳁ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

66. 55:66
    ﳂﳃﳄﳅ فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ

    In both of them are two springs, spouting.

67. 55:67
    ﳆﳇﳈﳉﳊ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

68. 55:68
    ﳋﳌﳍﳎﳏ فِيهِمَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ

    In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.

69. 55:69
    ﳐﳑﳒﳓﳔ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

70. 55:70
    ﱁﱂﱃﱄ فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَٰتٌ حِسَانٌ

    In them are good and beautiful women -

71. 55:71
    ﱅﱆﱇﱈﱉ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

72. 55:72
    ﱊﱋﱌﱍﱎ حُورٌ مَّقْصُورَٰتٌ فِى ٱلْخِيَامِ

    Fair ones reserved in pavilions -

73. 55:73
    ﱏﱐﱑﱒﱓ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

74. 55:74
    ﱔﱕﱖﱗﱘﱙﱚ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّ

    Untouched before them by man or jinni -

75. 55:75
    ﱛﱜﱝﱞﱟ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

76. 55:76
    ﱠﱡﱢﱣﱤﱥﱦ مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِىٍّ حِسَانٍ

    Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.

77. 55:77
    ﱧﱨﱩﱪﱫ فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

78. 55:78
    ﱬﱭﱮﱯﱰﱱﱲ تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ

    Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.
