Surah Al-Burooj — The Constellations

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 85:1 ▶
   ﱋﱌﱍﱎ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ

   By the sky containing great stars

   தஃப்சீர்
2. 85:2 ▶
   ﱏﱐﱑ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ

   And [by] the promised Day

   தஃப்சீர்
3. 85:3 ▶
   ﱒﱓﱔ وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ

   And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,

   தஃப்சீர்
4. 85:4 ▶
   ﱕﱖﱗﱘ قُتِلَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ

   Cursed were the companions of the trench

   தஃப்சீர்
5. 85:5 ▶
   ﱙﱚﱛﱜ ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ

   [Containing] the fire full of fuel,

   தஃப்சீர்
6. 85:6 ▶
   ﱝﱞﱟﱠﱡ إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ

   When they were sitting near it

7. 85:7 ▶
   ﱢﱣﱤﱥﱦﱧﱨ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ

   And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.

8. 85:8 ▶
   ﱩﱪﱫﱬﱭﱮﱯﱰﱱﱲ وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ

   And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,

9. 85:9 ▶
   ﱳﱴﱵﱶﱷﱸﱹﱺﱻﱼﱽﱾ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ

   To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness.

   தஃப்சீர்
10. 85:10 ▶
    ﱿﲀﲁﲂﲃﲄﲅﲆﲇﲈﲉﲊﲋﲌﲍ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

    Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.

11. 85:11 ▶
    ﲎﲏﲐﲑﲒﲓﲔﲕﲖﲗﲘﲙﲚﲛﲜﲝ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ

    Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.

    தஃப்சீர்
12. 85:12 ▶
    ﲞﲟﲠﲡﲢ إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ

    Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.

    தஃப்சீர்
13. 85:13 ▶
    ﲣﲤﲥﲦﲧ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ

    Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.

    தஃப்சீர்
14. 85:14 ▶
    ﲨﲩﲪﲫ وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ

    And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate,

    தஃப்சீர்
15. 85:15 ▶
    ﲬﲭﲮﲯ ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ

    Honorable Owner of the Throne,

    தஃப்சீர்
16. 85:16 ▶
    ﲰﲱﲲﲳ فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

    Effecter of what He intends.

    தஃப்சீர்
17. 85:17 ▶
    ﲴﲵﲶﲷﲸ هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ

    Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -

    தஃப்சீர்
18. 85:18 ▶
    ﲹﲺﲻ فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ

    [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?

    தஃப்சீர்
19. 85:19 ▶
    ﲼﲽﲾﲿﳀﳁ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍ

    But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,

    தஃப்சீர்
20. 85:20 ▶
    ﳂﳃﳄﳅﳆ وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ

    While Allah encompasses them from behind.

    தஃப்சீர்
21. 85:21 ▶
    ﳇﳈﳉﳊﳋ بَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَانٌ مَّجِيدٌ

    But this is an honored Qur'an

22. 85:22 ▶
    ﳌﳍﳎﳏ فِى لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوظٍۭ

    [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.
