Surah Al-Faatiha — The Opening

1. 1:1 ▶
   ﱁﱂﱃﱄﱅ بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

2. 1:2 ▶
   ﱆﱇﱈﱉﱊ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

   [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -

3. 1:3 ▶
   ﱋﱌﱍ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

4. 1:4 ▶
   ﱎﱏﱐﱑ مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

   Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.

5. 1:5 ▶
   ﱒﱓﱔﱕﱖ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

   It is You we worship and You we ask for help.

6. 1:6 ▶
   ﱗﱘﱙﱚ ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ

   Guide us to the straight path -

7. 1:7 ▶
   ﱛﱜﱝﱞﱟﱠﱡﱢﱣﱤ صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

   The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
