Surah Al-Mursalaat — The Emissaries

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 77:1 ▶
   ﲁﲂﲃ وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا

   By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

2. 77:2 ▶
   ﲄﲅﲆ فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا

   And the winds that blow violently

3. 77:3 ▶
   ﲇﲈﲉ وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا

   And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

4. 77:4 ▶
   ﲊﲋﲌ فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا

   And those [angels] who bring criterion

5. 77:5 ▶
   ﲍﲎﲏ فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا

   And those [angels] who deliver a message

6. 77:6 ▶
   ﲐﲑﲒﲓ عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا

   As justification or warning,

7. 77:7 ▶
   ﲔﲕﲖﲗ إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ

   Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.

8. 77:8 ▶
   ﲘﲙﲚﲛ فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ

   So when the stars are obliterated

9. 77:9 ▶
   ﲜﲝﲞﲟ وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ

   And when the heaven is opened

10. 77:10 ▶
    ﲠﲡﲢﲣ وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ

    And when the mountains are blown away

11. 77:11 ▶
    ﲤﲥﲦﲧ وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ

    And when the messengers' time has come...

12. 77:12 ▶
    ﲨﲩﲪﲫ لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ

    For what Day was it postponed?

13. 77:13 ▶
    ﲬﲭﲮ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ

    For the Day of Judgement.

14. 77:14 ▶
    ﲯﲰﲱﲲﲳﲴ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ

    And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?

15. 77:15 ▶
    ﲵﲶﲷﲸ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

16. 77:16 ▶
    ﲹﲺﲻﲼ أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    Did We not destroy the former peoples?

17. 77:17 ▶
    ﲽﲾﲿﳀ ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ

    Then We will follow them with the later ones.

18. 77:18 ▶
    ﳁﳂﳃﳄ كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

    Thus do We deal with the criminals.

19. 77:19 ▶
    ﳅﳆﳇﳈ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

20. 77:20 ▶
    ﱁﱂﱃﱄﱅﱆ أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ

    Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?

21. 77:21 ▶
    ﱇﱈﱉﱊﱋ فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ

    And We placed it in a firm lodging

22. 77:22 ▶
    ﱌﱍﱎﱏ إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

    For a known extent.

23. 77:23 ▶
    ﱐﱑﱒﱓ فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ

    And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

24. 77:24 ▶
    ﱔﱕﱖﱗ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

25. 77:25 ▶
    ﱘﱙﱚﱛﱜ أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا

    Have We not made the earth a container

26. 77:26 ▶
    ﱝﱞﱟ أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا

    Of the living and the dead?

27. 77:27 ▶
    ﱠﱡﱢﱣﱤﱥﱦﱧ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا

    And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.

28. 77:28 ▶
    ﱨﱩﱪﱫ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

29. 77:29 ▶
    ﱬﱭﱮﱯﱰﱱﱲ ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

    [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.

30. 77:30 ▶
    ﱳﱴﱵﱶﱷﱸﱹ ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ

    Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

31. 77:31 ▶
    ﱺﱻﱼﱽﱾﱿﲀ لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ

    [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."

32. 77:32 ▶
    ﲁﲂﲃﲄﲅ إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ

    Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,

33. 77:33 ▶
    ﲆﲇﲈﲉ كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ

    As if they were yellowish [black] camels.

34. 77:34 ▶
    ﲊﲋﲌﲍ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

35. 77:35 ▶
    ﲎﲏﲐﲑﲒ هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ

    This is a Day they will not speak,

36. 77:36 ▶
    ﲓﲔﲕﲖﲗ وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ

    Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.

37. 77:37 ▶
    ﲘﲙﲚﲛ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

38. 77:38 ▶
    ﲜﲝﲞﲟﲠﲡﲢ هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.

39. 77:39 ▶
    ﲣﲤﲥﲦﲧﲨ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ

    So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.

40. 77:40 ▶
    ﲩﲪﲫﲬ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

41. 77:41 ▶
    ﲭﲮﲯﲰﲱﲲ إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ

    Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

42. 77:42 ▶
    ﲳﲴﲵﲶ وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ

    And fruits from whatever they desire,

43. 77:43 ▶
    ﲷﲸﲹﲺﲻﲼﲽ كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

    [Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."

44. 77:44 ▶
    ﲾﲿﳀﳁﳂ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

    Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

45. 77:45 ▶
    ﳃﳄﳅﳆ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

46. 77:46 ▶
    ﳇﳈﳉﳊﳋﳌ كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ

    [O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.

47. 77:47 ▶
    ﳍﳎﳏﳐ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

48. 77:48 ▶
    ﳑﳒﳓﳔﳕﳖﳗ وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ

    And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.

49. 77:49 ▶
    ﳘﳙﳚﳛ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

50. 77:50 ▶
    ﳜﳝﳞﳟﳠ فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ

    Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe?
