Surah At-Taariq — The Morning Star

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 86:1 ▶
   ﱁﱂﱃ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ

   By the sky and the night comer -

2. 86:2 ▶
   ﱄﱅﱆﱇﱈ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ

   And what can make you know what is the night comer?

3. 86:3 ▶
   ﱉﱊﱋ ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ

   It is the piercing star -

4. 86:4 ▶
   ﱌﱍﱎﱏﱐﱑﱒ إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ

   There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.

5. 86:5 ▶
   ﱓﱔﱕﱖﱗ فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ

   So let man observe from what he was created.

6. 86:6 ▶
   ﱘﱙﱚﱛﱜ خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍ دَافِقٍ

   He was created from a fluid, ejected,

7. 86:7 ▶
   ﱝﱞﱟﱠﱡﱢ يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ

   Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.

8. 86:8 ▶
   ﱣﱤﱥﱦﱧ إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌ

   Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able.

9. 86:9 ▶
   ﱨﱩﱪﱫ يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ

   The Day when secrets will be put on trial,

10. 86:10 ▶
    ﱬﱭﱮﱯﱰﱱﱲ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ

    Then man will have no power or any helper.

11. 86:11 ▶
    ﱳﱴﱵﱶ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجْعِ

    By the sky which returns [rain]

12. 86:12 ▶
    ﱷﱸﱹﱺ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدْعِ

    And [by] the earth which cracks open,

13. 86:13 ▶
    ﱻﱼﱽﱾ إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ

    Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement,

14. 86:14 ▶
    ﱿﲀﲁﲂ وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلْهَزْلِ

    And it is not amusement.

15. 86:15 ▶
    ﲃﲄﲅﲆ إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا

    Indeed, they are planning a plan,

16. 86:16 ▶
    ﲇﲈﲉ وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا

    But I am planning a plan.

17. 86:17 ▶
    ﲊﲋﲌﲍﲎ فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا

    So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.
