ஸூரா அபஸ — அவர் முகம் சுளித்தார்

عبس

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

🎨 தஜ்வீத் நிற விளக்கம்

ஒலியா எழுத்து — எழுதப்படும் ஆனால் உச்சரிக்கப்படாது (ஹம்ஸத்துல் வஸ்ல், சூரிய லாம், ஒலியா அலிஃப்)

குன்னா (மூக்கொலி) — இரட்டித்த நூன் அல்லது மீமில் மூக்கொலி, மற்றும் நூன் சாகின் / தன்வீன் விதிகள்

கல்கலா (எதிரொலி) — சுகூன் கொண்ட காஃப், தா, பா, ஜீம் அல்லது தால் எழுத்துகளில் சிறிய அதிர்வு

கனத்த எழுத்து (தஃப்கீம்) — வாய் நிறைந்த (கனமான) எழுத்துகள், மற்றும் கனமான ரா

இயல்பான மத் (2) — அடிப்படை 2 அளவு நீட்டிப்பு

⚠︎ இந்த தஜ்வீத் வண்ணங்கள் இந்தோபாக் எழுத்துருவுக்காகத் தானாகவே உருவாக்கப்பட்டவை; அச்சிடப்பட்ட தஜ்வீத் முஸ்ஹஃபிலிருந்து இவை வேறுபடலாம். இவற்றைக் கற்றலுக்கு உதவியாக மட்டுமே பயன்படுத்துங்கள்; உங்கள் ஓதுதலைத் தகுதிவாய்ந்த ஆசிரியரிடம் (முக்ரிஃ) உறுதிப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள். இந்த விதிகள் ஹஃப்ஸ் அன் ஆஸிம் ஓதுமுறையைப் பின்பற்றுகின்றன.

ۘ Signs of waqf (pauses)

Waqf (وقف, “stop”) signs tell the reciter where to pause for breath while intending to continue. They appear slightly smaller and raised above the line. Follow them to avoid changing the meaning. Where two signs appear one above the other, give preference to the one on top.

◯: waqf tām — وقف تامّ — “Perfect stop” — the end of a verse. The meaning is complete; stop and take a breath before continuing. Shown by the verse circle.
مـ: waqf lāzim — وقف لازم — “Required stop” — it is absolutely necessary to stop; not stopping can change the meaning (like “Stand! not Sit!” vs “Stand not! Sit!”).
ط: waqf muṭlaq — وقف مطلق — “Absolute stop” — break the breath and voice before continuing. The sentence is not yet complete but more follows before the meaning finishes.
ج: waqf jāʾiz — وقف جائز — “Permissible stop” — better to stop here, but if you do not, that is fine.
ز: waqf mujawwaz — وقف مجوّز — It is better not to stop here.
ص: waqf murakhkhaṣ — وقف مرخّص — “Licensed pause” — continue reading; but if you are tired you may pause for a breath. More desirable to continue than at ز.
صلے: al-waṣl awlā — الوصل أولى — “Continuing is preferable” — it is better to carry on reciting here.
ق: qīla ʿalayhil-waqf — قيل عليه الوقف — It has been said that it is better not to stop here — the sign marks a difference of opinion on whether to stop.
قﻲ: qad yūṣal — قد يوصل — It is better to stop here, but continuing is permissible.
قف: qif — قِف — “Stop!” — used where the reciter might otherwise continue instead of stopping.
س: saktah — سكتة — “Silence” — stop reciting but do not break the breath before continuing. Obligatory in four places (Sūrah al-Kahf, Yāsīn, al-Qiyāmah and al-Muṭaffifīn).
وقفة: waqfah — وقفة — Pause here longer than at a saktah, again without breaking the breath.
لا: lā — لا — “No!” — do not stop here, as it would affect the meaning. If it falls at a verse-end it is still better not to stop, but if you do the meaning is alright.
ك: kadhālik — كذلك — “Like that” — apply the previous waqf sign at this position as well.
∴ ∴: muʿānaqah — معانقة — “Embracing stop” — triple dots appearing in pairs: stopping at the first forbids stopping at the second (and vice versa), or the meaning becomes incomplete. Stop at one or the other, not both.
∴: — — Marks a point where there is a difference of opinion as to whether it is the end of an āyah.
: waqf an-nabī ﷺ — وقف النبي ﷺ — Indicates places where the Prophet ﷺ paused.
: waqf ghufrān — وقف غفران — It is said that if the reciter and listener make duʿāʾ when pausing here, it will be answered.
: waqf manzil — وقف منزل — Also waqf jibrāʾīl — where Jibrīl (peace be upon him) paused at the time of revelation.

۝ Punctuation marks in the Arabic text

Qurʾanic punctuation in the Arabic script uses several symbols indicating variations in methods of qirāʾah (recitation). These symbols, known as the ʿAlāmāt al-Waqf (signs for stops), are briefly described below.

◯: Shows the end of a verse — a pause is a must.
مـ: Waqf Lāzim — The stop at which the word and meaning give a complete sense (a “complete stop”): the utterance is complete and separated from what follows.
ط: Waqf Jāʾiz, al-Waqf Awlā — May or may not stop, but the first preference is to stop. (The “sufficient stop”: stopping or continuing is permissible, yet stopping is preferable, since the phrase can stand by itself.)
ج: Waqf Jāʾiz — May or may not stop at the place indicated (no preference either way).
ز: It is better not to stop here.
ﺱ: Breaking the voice at a Qurʾanic word for a brief moment without taking a breath — at two counts (nearly two seconds).
صلے: Waqf Jāʾiz, al-Waṣl Awlā — May or may not stop at the place indicated, but the first preference is not to stop.
ق: It is better not to stop here.
صل: Better to stop.
قف: It is better to take a pause.
س: Stop the vocal sound for a moment without breaking the breath.
وقفة: Vocal-sound stoppage for more than a moment, without breaking the breath.
لا: Waqf Mamnūʿ — Must not stop at the place indicated.
ك: Ramz-e-Waqf — The same waqf sign as the one that has previously passed applies here.
∴ ∴: Taʿānuq al-Waqf — May stop at either place indicated, but not at both.

80:1

عَبَسَ وَتَوَلّٰٓىۙ ۱

The Prophet frowned and turned away

தஃப்சீர்
80:2

اَنۡ جَآءَهُ الۡاَعۡمٰىؕ ۲

Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].

தஃப்சீர்
80:3

وَمَا يُدۡرِيۡكَ لَعَلَّهٗ يَزَّكّٰٓىۙ ۳

But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified

தஃப்சீர்
80:4

اَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنۡفَعَهُ الذِّكۡرٰىؕ ۴

Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him?

தஃப்சீர்
80:5

اَمَّا مَنِ اسۡتَغۡنٰىۙ ۵

As for he who thinks himself without need,

தஃப்சீர்
80:6

فَاَنۡتَ لَهٗ تَصَدّٰىؕ ۶

To him you give attention.

தஃப்சீர்
80:7

وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ اَلَّا يَزَّكّٰٓىؕ ۷

And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.

தஃப்சீர்
80:8

وَاَمَّا مَنۡ جَآءَكَ يَسۡعٰىۙ ۸

But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]

தஃப்சீர்
80:9

وَهُوَ يَخۡشٰىۙ ۹

While he fears [Allah],

தஃப்சீர்
80:10

فَاَنۡتَ عَنۡهُ تَلَهّٰىۚ ۱۰

From him you are distracted.

தஃப்சீர்

ஒத்த வசனங்கள் 1

74:53 كَلَّا بَل لَّا يَخَافُونَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ
80:11

كَلَّاۤ اِنَّهَا تَذۡكِرَةٌۚ ۱۱

No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder;

தஃப்சீர்
80:12

فَمَنۡ شَآءَ ذَكَرَهٗۘ ۱۲

So whoever wills may remember it.

தஃப்சீர்
80:13

فِىۡ صُحُفٍ مُّكَرَّمَةٍۙ ۱۳

[It is recorded] in honored sheets,

80:14

مَّرۡفُوۡعَةٍ مُّطَهَّرَةٍ ۭۙ ۱۴

Exalted and purified,

தஃப்சீர்
80:15

بِاَيۡدِىۡ سَفَرَةٍۙ ۱۵

[Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels,

80:16

كِرَامٍۢ بَرَرَةٍؕ ۱۶

Noble and dutiful.

தஃப்சீர்
80:17

قُتِلَ الۡاِنۡسَانُ مَاۤ اَكۡفَرَهٗؕ ۱۷

Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he.

தஃப்சீர்
80:18

مِنۡ اَىِّ شَىۡءٍ خَلَقَهٗؕ ۱۸

From what substance did He create him?

தஃப்சீர்
80:19

مِنۡ نُّطۡفَةٍؕ خَلَقَهٗ فَقَدَّرَهٗۙ ۱۹

From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him;

தஃப்சீர்
80:20

ثُمَّ السَّبِيۡلَ يَسَّرَهٗۙ ۲۰

Then He eased the way for him;

தஃப்சீர்
80:21

ثُمَّ اَمَاتَهٗ فَاَقۡبَرَهٗۙ ۲۱

Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him.

தஃப்சீர்
80:22

ثُمَّ اِذَا شَآءَ اَنۡشَرَهٗؕ ۲۲

Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.

தஃப்சீர்
80:23

كَلَّا لَـمَّا يَقۡضِ مَاۤ اَمَرَهٗؕ ۲۳

No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him.

தஃப்சீர்
80:24

فَلۡيَنۡظُرِ الۡاِنۡسَانُ اِلٰى طَعَامِهٖۤۙ ۲۴

Then let mankind look at his food -

தஃப்சீர்
80:25

اَنَّا صَبَبۡنَا الۡمَآءَ صَبًّاۙ ۲۵

How We poured down water in torrents,

தஃப்சீர்
80:26

ثُمَّ شَقَقۡنَا الۡاَرۡضَ شَقًّاۙ ۲۶

Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts],

தஃப்சீர்
80:27

فَاَنۡۢبَتۡنَا فِيۡهَا حَبًّاۙ ۲۷

And caused to grow within it grain

தஃப்சீர்
80:28

وَّ عِنَبًا وَّقَضۡبًاۙ ۲۸

And grapes and herbage

தஃப்சீர்
80:29

وَّزَيۡتُوۡنًا وَّنَخۡلًا ؕ ۲۹

And olive and palm trees

தஃப்சீர்
80:30

وَحَدَآٮِٕقَ غُلۡبًاۙ ۳۰

And gardens of dense shrubbery

தஃப்சீர்
80:31

وَّفَاكِهَةً وَّاَبًّاۙ ۳۱

And fruit and grass -

தஃப்சீர்
80:32

مَّتَاعًا لَّـكُمۡ وَلِاَنۡعَامِكُمۡؕ ۳۲

[As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock.

80:33

فَاِذَا جَآءَتِ الصَّآخَّةُ ۳۳

But when there comes the Deafening Blast

80:34

يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ الۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ اَخِيۡهِۙ ۳۴

On the Day a man will flee from his brother

தஃப்சீர்
80:35

وَاُمِّهٖ وَاَبِيۡهِۙ ۳۵

And his mother and his father

தஃப்சீர்

ஒத்த வசனங்கள் 1

70:11 يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ يَوَدُّ ٱلْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِى مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنِيهِ
80:36

وَصَاحِبَتِهٖ وَبَنِيۡهِؕ ۳۶

And his wife and his children,

தஃப்சீர்
80:37

لِكُلِّ امۡرِیءٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ شَاۡنٌ يُّغۡنِيۡهِؕ ۳۷

For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.

தஃப்சீர்
80:38

وُجُوۡهٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ مُّسۡفِرَةٌۙ ۳۸

[Some] faces, that Day, will be bright -

தஃப்சீர்
80:39

ضَاحِكَةٌ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٌۚ ۳۹

Laughing, rejoicing at good news.

தஃப்சீர்
80:40

وَوُجُوۡهٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةٌۙ ۴۰

And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust.

தஃப்சீர்
80:41

تَرۡهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌؕ ۴۱

Blackness will cover them.

தஃப்சீர்
80:42

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡكَفَرَةُ الۡفَجَرَةُ ۴۲

Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones.
