🤲 Duas — supplications from Quran and Sunnah

Qul huwa Allahu ahad. Allahu-s-samad. Lam yalid wa lam yulad. Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad.

Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Self-Sufficient. He neither begets nor is born. And there is none equal to Him.

Qul a'udhu bi rabbi-l-falaq. Min sharri ma khalaq. Wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab. Wa min sharri-n-naffathati fi-l-'uqad. Wa min sharri hasidin idha hasad.

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak — from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it gathers, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.

Qul a'udhu bi rabbi-n-nas. Maliki-n-nas. Ilahi-n-nas. Min sharri-l-waswasi-l-khannas. Alladhi yuwaswisu fi suduri-n-nas. Mina-l-jinnati wa-n-nas.

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind — from the evil of the slinking whisperer, who whispers in the breasts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.

Rabbana atina fi-d-dunya hasanatan wa fi-l-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaba-n-nar.

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ حَسْبِىَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

Hasbuna-llahu wa ni'ma-l-wakil.

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

Allahumma anta rabbi, la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika ma-stata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u laka bi ni'matika 'alayya, wa abu'u bi dhanbi, fa-ghfir li, fa-innahu la yaghfiru-dh-dhunuba illa anta.

O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god worthy of worship except You. You created me and I am Your servant. I keep Your covenant and Your pledge to the best of my ability. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me and I acknowledge my sins, so forgive me — for none can forgive sins except You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحُزْنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika mina-l-hammi wa-l-hazan, wa a'udhu bika mina-l-'ajzi wa-l-kasal, wa a'udhu bika mina-l-jubni wa-l-bukhl, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabati-d-dayni wa qahri-r-rijal.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by men.

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ.

La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

There is no power and no strength except with Allah.

I seek the forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent.

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ.

Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik.

O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You in the best manner.

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ

Rabbana la tuzigh qulubana ba'da idh hadaytana, wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah, innaka anta-l-wahhab.

Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
